Crufts

Yet another Crufts has come and gone, it has to be said that the show world is certainly changing!
Had a email from a from a friend today, who spent the whole four days visiting this exciting event and came away believing the only way to win is to:
a) breed (a dog) in England
b) ship the dog to the USA
c) get some amazingly rich and famous person e.g. a film star, to sponsor it there under their leasing system
d)have it win several times in the USA having hired and American pro handler who knows the score
e) bring it back with maximum publicity (a full page in the Crufts programme would do)
f) stand back and hope that some other American who has done the same does not beat you to Best in Show, leaving you with just the group win!
Funny as this is, certainly it does seem to be the way things are going.
